About a month ago l was invited to speak to the A.F.M Murehwa district youth at Mukombami High School in Bhora. While there, we discovered that girls in that area were in urgent need for sanitary wear. Most of them were using old clothes and cow dung during their menstrual flow. Most missed their classes because of this.
We thus took it upon ourselves to help these girls monthly and we helped 30 last month, but it was upon helping these 30 that the school authorities notified us that there was a need of 145 pads a month to help. We were so glad to be part of the team that brings joy to these young girls, but on our own we can’t reach the target.
I am therefore extending this to you my brothers and sisters to join hands with us to bring relief to these girls
